Thank you for you interest, I appreciate the feedback. As I was collecting the materials that would eventually form this collage, I was between three and five years into my two consecutive 20-year prison sentences for arson. I was also incarcerated in a for-profit prison in Texas as result of prison overcrowding in Idaho. I have yet to be offered behavioral treatment or therapy, and I am doing my best to cope with my deeply disturbing situation.
As I was arranging the materials that I’ve collected into this collage, I spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, my birthday and the New Year in solitary confinement, smoking hash oil and eating ecstasy, attempting to suss through and repurpose the horrible choices and experiences that fueled my psychosis and crimes, and also share how I am experiencing my period of incarceration. All to the benefit of science and humanity, of course.
You’ll notice how this presentation is packed with esoteric notes to myself. Currently unable to view this presentation myself, I look forward to reviewing and expanding upon those notes when I’m released.
